Bitcoin Core at a glance
A live view of the bitcoin/bitcoin repository on GitHub: headline stats, releases, the newest issues and pull requests, a year of commit activity and top contributors, plus a hand-picked list of notable changes from the release notes.
Optional: use a GitHub token for higher limits Not needed. Without one you get 60 requests an hour.
The page works without a token. GitHub allows 60 requests an hour per visitor without one, and each full load uses about 8. A token raises that to 5,000 an hour.
- What it needs: a fine-grained token with public repositories (read-only) and no extra permissions. A classic token with no scopes also works.
- Privacy: the token stays in this tab's memory and is only sent to
api.github.com. It is never saved, logged or put in the URL, and it's gone when you click Forget token or reload.
